I have always had pretty good results with Ruffwear products. I had read reviews saying this jacket rubbed on dogs legs and left raw marks. I was skeptical about buying the jacket and went back and forth before deciding to try it. I loved the color, fit, material, lightweight nature and everything else about this jacket. However, the sleeves did in fact rub raw spots on my dogs front legs after two uses. It may just be the type of dog he is, but please know that this is actually happening on dogs. If you are unsure, its better to be safe. It also seems that this item is not able to be returned. That is a lot of money to spend for something that might not work out. If it is helpful to someone, my dog is about 75 pounds, a mix of breeds but built like a tall skinny lab.
