Pets usually go through an adjustment period when you add anything to them, these are no exception. I tried the "right" way for putting them on and they would slip off just from walking. These weren't too small or too big they just have more grip on the part contacting the floor than the part attached to your pet. I tried them on a little tighter just too rule out user error/them being too lose. Shortly after my pet was walking weirdly, i took them off and sure enough they were too tight and cutting off circulation (feet were swelling). Ultimately they don't work as intended.
