The stretch ability is functional.

I love these shoe laces. They’re pretty, easy to use, and truly fit any shoe. I’m on dialysis and my weight fluctuates daily so the stretch feature really helps me. I don’t have to adjust the laces afterward. If I ever need laces again I know where I’ll get them. Thanks!
