Great quality magnet! This doesn't fall off of the dishwasher, the magnet is super strong. My dishwasher is so quiet that I forget a lot if I turned it on or not to clean the dishes. The dishwasher's controls are hidden away. No easy way to tell if the washer was running without looking inside. Our system is now that as soon as one of us starts the dishwasher, we turn it to clean. As soon as the dishwasher is emptied, we turn it to dirty. Easy Peasy and no more dirty dishes getting mixed with clean dishes!
