tldr:I'm 5'6", 30" waist, and 180lbs-compression fit-tummy control-large pocket-a little long by ankles-passed the squat test-highly recommendThese fit more like compression pants, and my first time wearing them, it was like getting a big hug all day. I will note that I'm down 40 lbs in 6 months, and still losing, so I ordered down a size. My waist was 32 inches when I ordered a size Large. I'm at 30 inches now, and they still fit pretty snug. But it's very comfortable and helps control my tummy area (some loose skin) without creating an unflattering muffin top.They don't slide down during my most intense workouts (including squats and zumba dancing). I usually have a problem with the inseam area (crotch area) sliding down with leggings, which causes the thigh skin to rub together, but these don't do that at all, and also don't give me a camel toe.If I had to have a "con" it would be the length. I'm 5'6" and 180, and these bunch a little around my ankle. It's not super noticeable, and it doesn't bother me during the day.I desperately needed some leggings with a pocket for my giant phone (samsung galaxy note 8) for work. I chase kids around all day and need my phone with me, but also need my hands free. I looked in a million stores for pockets that were large enough, and couldn't find any.I highly recommend purchasing these leggings! I'm getting a second pair in navy blue right now!
