I am 5'5" and I weigh 160-165. I bought a large. It fits nice and loose but still doesnt look too baggy and stupid on me. I wanted to be able to wear it over everything and my old peacoat which was super similar style was a small and it still fit just barely without feeling super tight, but I couldnt qear it over anything thick like a sweater and I could not lift my arms up at all without it pulling super super snug in my armpits!The pockets and the hood are my favorite features! Nice big pockets that you drop down into straight from the top angle so they're not on the side of the coat and I like that I feel like less likely my phone is gonna just fall out, and the hood is just so cozy to pull up when I'm cold, the collar of it folds over to show the buttons or unfolds to make u feel super cozy while looking like a jedi.
