I wanted a shoe I could use for outdoor work in the summer. It's sturdy enough, and the bottom sole is more protective than the usual close-toe sandal, which is what I wanted. My only gripe is that it did not come in my half size. Fit advice on the site said that the shoe runs a little large, so get the next lower size if you wear half sizes, but I found that it cramped my feet and toes pretty badly. I ended up taking out the removable insoles, which makes the fit barely acceptable, but would have preferred a shoe that actually fits. Other than that, it works.
