I got the size L/XL and didn't think it wouldn't fit but they did and even came up my large calf muscle. It compressed, but not so much that they are uncomfortable. I'm able to wear these for hours and not even remember that I have them on. They are thick enough, but not super thick. They are a really good quality as far as how long they may last but If you get the ones with stitching on them, the stitching isn't the best. But overall, these are great and you get so many pairs!
