I was suspicious how much a pair of compression socks could help before trying these. Now I'm a convert. Wearing these basically eliminated a nagging heel pain I've had when playing tennis. These didn't cure it per se, but they effectively prevented the pain and that's simply amazing. Would not go out without these any more!
