They’re made of soft latex and help a little bit to keep the buds in my ears. And they are thin enough to allow the buds to charge in the case without having to remove them. They aren’t as hard to put on as some have claimed. Don’t pull them on. Turn them inside out over one of your fingers, then press the buds against them aligning the holes, and then gently flip the edges over the buds. Two of each color were in the box. They’re labeled L and R, but AFAICT, they’re symmetrical.
