They are buttery soft and great for lounging around the house. I bought the larger size since I am pear-shaped and they still come up to my natural waist (and I have a longer torso!) They don't roll or feel too tight on the calf. They are opaque that you can't see any panties through them either. I wore these while 9 months pregnant and they were one of the best purchases I made. Great stretch but they don't stretch out, even after losing the baby weight they fit like new!
