These are plasticky but I was looking for that. They keep me warm. I am 5’7” and 169 pounds. In dresses I wear 10 to 12. An extra large seems to be a size 14 so it is loose and frumpy looking. It makes me look fat. I had to tighten the shoulder straps all the way down and it hits the floor perfectly. I think if you are short, you are in trouble. there is a lot of room in the waist and I feel like I would’ve liked one to be tighter however when I bend down to my feet, The suit binds up my rear end so I know I have the correct size. My husband tells me it does not look nice on me but is probably the correct size for me. If you order the extra large, just don’t expect it to look swank, because it won’t. I ordered the rose pink color and I find it to be quite pretty
