As stated in other reviews, this is a 70-30 blend of cotton-linen, not 100% linen. It still lacks the give of 100% cotton, so if near the top end of your size, definitely size up; I'm in the middle of X-large, and it for fine with plenty of room.The light weave and linen allow this to breathe well, and you can roll up the sleeves and they won't slide down easily. It's far from the softest material, but isn't overly rough either. Being a prewashed blend, you *can* tumble dry on low, but you'd want to take it out while still a bit damp to finish drying.A nice shirt for the price, but may not be your cup of tea if you need more flexibility and less flow.
