Even such a basic gadget as a kettle should be of at least good quality when you purchase a SMEG product. The kettle's lid did not open easily after I bought it; I had to press the button firmly to do so. shifted to a different. On the first day, the water level indication under the second kettle started to leak. I'll give the money back and promise never to purchase SMEG again. It's incredible that you can get such a high price for a product of such poor quality.
