I bought this briefcase a little less than 3 years ago, and the springs to make the clasps latch properly have become unglued and fallen out the second time. The first time this happened was after about 15 months. I contacted the seller, and I had to pay for replacement latches ($15 total). This has happened agin to the replacement latches, and the cloth for holding the velcro to keep the laptop inside the briefcase wore out after about 2 years. Despite these issues, I did enjoy the briefcase. The briefcase held up for almost 3 years, which is a lot longer than any of the faux leather or cloth briefcases I have used. If the briefcase could have a more sturdy latch mechanism, this would be a great briefcase.
