The buttons themselves are of a great quality, and they have a nice feel when pressed; nevertheless, there is a delay of around half a second when they are activated. It will take some time before you get used to it. Because I have an average-sized head, they fit nicely on top of my head. Stay healthy so you can continue to run and participate in sports. Even after four hours of nonstop listening, my ears don't hurt and I don't experience any specific discomfort; of course, my ears get a little fatigued, but they don't hurt either.
