I have quite a few LED flashlights and all of them claim to be powerful. I do not have any large flashlights because I have to use these flashlights while working or while carrying other things. I was able to compare this to my comparable flashlights that I own and a couple of others I use at work. I literally would shine the others at a wall and then shine this one at the same spot; this one out shined them all. I cannot attest to the exact lumen level of this flashlight (whether it is actually 10,000 lumens), but it is definitely brighter than the MagLight 150LR that I have at work. The ML 150LR says that it has 1085 lumens. If that is true, this Kepeak outshines the ML. However, It did not monstratively beat it like you'd expect a flaslight that is rated at ten times the lumens, but it does shine brighter and further across my 5 acre field. Yes, it does focus down to the typical square beam, but it also has this halo affect that shines way outside of the square across 300 yards or more. But at over 300 yards, the square shines bright. Even if you back off the intensity of the beam and get rid of the square, you can still see well at that 300+ yards.
