The off function actually shuts it off. No dribbling. Plus I can now rinse the soap out of my hair in under 5 minutes. (Your water pressure and level of rebellion may vary)Installing was as easy as claimed, especially if you understand that round pegs goes in the round holes. The hose fittings are brass, The ball mount is metal. The shower holder is plastic but not flimsy.
