My cats are clever. They are so clever, in fact, that they try breaking into my cabinets for fun. While I had grown accustomed to the random banging that sounded like A midnight remodeling session, their eventual success in their never ending quest to gain access to every inch of the house required me to finally take action.These magnets, while not enough to stop a toddler or a human in possession of very little patience, are sufficient to prevent a pair of very patient and very determined felines from entering kitchen, bathroom, and media center cabinets. They are all metal, and they install easily enough with the use of a screwdriver and an awl for marking the metal plate that mounts on the cabinet door.My house is much quieter now that the cabinets are secure, and I no longer have to wash everything before I use it.
