Nobody is going to write home about a "cheap jacket" from China sold on Ebay, right? I bought this pea coat for my tall and super slim son. I have pea coats myself, but my kid had nothing "adult fancy" to wear to an upscale restaurant for outdoor dining during Covid-19. He has jackets. Not the same thing. For the price of $56, it's hard to beat a bargain like this.This is a medium coat in dark blue, and although a small could have fit him, I needed room for a dress shirt and sweater underneath. The picture is of the coat *straight out* of the bag. It arrived folded, so yes, there are wrinkles/fold lines, but that can be fixed with a hot iron. The coat is soft and cozy and very easy to fold. This pea coat is not like mine (I still have a really thick and stiff J.Crew coat from ages ago), and this is what a growing kid does best in, not in a stiff coat that feels like a straightjacket.Kid dimensions are between 5'10" and 5'11" and 130 lb, so a real pole with an extremely fast metabolism and still growing. This is how a medium coat hangs on a frame that tall and skinny.I'm actually considering buying another one of these in a different color for him -- that's how good I feel about the value.
