This is literally the cutest septum piercing ever. Because of the way this septum is made, once you feel a little resistance (and I mean the tiniest bit) when screwing STOP! bc if you keep screwing it to try & make it tight you are going to mess it up! I believe this is what happened to the first one I received. I felt a little resistance when tightening and decided to screw it a little more to make sure it was tight and after that it just wouldn’t screw tight. I thought I could just live with it but the butterflies always moved & never stayed forward facing. I contacted them and got sent another one and instead of trying to screw it really tight I stopped at the first sign of resistance. I was a little skeptical bc it didn’t feel tight or secure, but surprisingly I’ve had this in for 3 days with no problems, no unscrewing on its own, or falling out of my nose. The butterflies stay in place, and it is secure! So glad I decided to give it another try and opt to exchange it instead of returning it bc I love love love it!
