These silicone protectors work great as a solution to my dog's habit of scratching the furniture .Pet Supplies need not be expensive, and this is one affordable yet practical item that helps prevent further damage to my home. Based on my observations, my dog did not show any discomfort or hesitance when they were attached to his nails. The only downside is that the protectors may fall off sometimes, requiring me to regularly reapply them.
