Pros:-EASY APPLICATION for the win! Being almost halfway through my first pregnancy I struggle with application of lotions and creams. I don't like the cold feeling on my belly, or the greasiness on my hands. This solves that problem! It is literally the easiest thing I've found to apply and honestly it feels quite effective.-Not only is this a mess-free, comfortable application (it isn't cold and shocking) it FEELS moisturizing, beyond even the top layer of skin! It seems to have a deeper reach than lotions and creams. It goes on with a sheen- at first, this feels greasy but it quickly absorbs, creating ultra-soft skin!Potential Downside:-Scent: Being an all natural product, this is not something you open and experience olfactory bliss. Rather, it smells like exactly what it is: balm! Being pregnant, I'm painfully sensitive to smells. When I first unscrewed the lid I expected to smell something lovely and all I could smell was crayons (wax). This was kind of off-putting at first until I thought about the fact that I'm not exposing my skin and potentially baby to artificial ingredients. Plus, for some people this neutral smell might actually be appealing! I think we are trained to expect fragrances when in reality, good products should really only smell like their ingredients.
