This topper is expensive. It's obvious but the saying for this item is.you get what you pay for. I gave it 4 stars because of the price. I think it was a tad over priced but it's worth it. I bought this for my son as an "egg crate " type replacement that was starting to tear. I wanted to do it right. I saw good reviews, I liked the inches (4), the memory foam and especially the cover (which is a necessity for mom's with little ones). My son doesn't weigh alot so i had no doubt it would work for him now and many years. It looked comfortable and soft but secure when I took it out of the box. It was vacuum packed. No problem there. After a couple days I decided to try it for myself to see how it could hold up to a full adult size/weight (5'4" & 220lbs). It was SOOO comfortable! I highly recommend it. I would be interested in buying one for my queen if I can afford it in the future.
