A few years back I developed some foot issues as I returned to exercising where I ended up at a foot doctor. She wanted me to start stretching my ankle and foot on a daily basis - this helped me greatly and my feet got stronger. Recently my wife severely broke her foot and as it is taking a very long time to heal, the doctor wants her to start stretching. So got both of us, feet are something we watch out for and look after. But that includes getting and keeping them health - stretching is important. So. the ProHeal Foot Rocker Calf Stretcher with Spiked Ball Massager.We are both thrilled with it.First, the ball: I have one for awhile now at my desk and from time to time grab it - it works great - so I thought having one for my wife as she recovers would be good. She still has to avoid the broken foot - pressure on the break area is well monitored. But she's used it on the other foot and loves it. She thought I was nuts suggesting it, but no longer. I've tried this one and it's as good as mine, so I am comfortable having her use it. She now believes me.The rocker. is fantastic. I have had some issues of late with not getting my one lower leg stretched enough since tearing my hamstring. This has helped me get past that and to a point where my walks are feeling easier and better again. And I can feel it working the leg in a way I can't get without it - or with just a curb to brace again - which is my usual go-to. With the rocker you can stand or sit, turn it either direction, and you get different stretches. This works great for me and I find myself pulling it out at even off times just to get a nice stretch. As my wife recovers she's using it on the good foot, but not yet on the break - until she gets clearance from the PT. But until then, she' too is finding it helpful, especially as she has to rebuild her legs from this injury and one compensating for the other.Overall this is a great rocker and I'm thrilled we grabbed it. We were not sure if it would be one of those devices you use a couple times then never again - a fad that goes no where - or would legitimately help.
