Bought this for our livingroom windows, have 3 tall but narrow windows and needed a longer rod than the size of the framed out windows. Wanted my curtains to draw to one side so the curtains would not block any of the three windows, and not to use something that needed a bracket in the middle for sway support and the curtains to have to be split, some on both sides of windows. I bought this for the ajustable length and no sway part of it. After I ordered this I freaked out and worried until it arrived. Hoping the whole time the description on the product was what it said. I took ends off and put on curtain finials and used inexpensive brackets found from Ikea. Got curtains up and looks & works just like I wanted. Love it.
