After reading the reviews, I decided to grab a pair of these. Got these today, in blue and was looking forward to wearing them. Put them on in the house and while I’ve barely taken a few steps in them, there is this horribly stiff and almost sharp edged ribbon used (grosgrain type) that is scratching up the back of my foot. If you look at the pics of the shoe, there is a pull tab piece of this ribbon as well, but the piece that is scratching is the ribbon that is actually stitched onto the sneaker part. That’s what feels like is cutting into me. I put these on to just sit in bed and see how they fit and get used to them and that piece on both feet is scratching the heck out of me and I’m not even moving!I got these for the $9.99 price so I don’t even know if it’s worth it to return. I was going to try to wear these with athletic socks but that totally defeats the purpose of having bought them for the Summer.Also, just while sitting here, just noticed that my feet are sweating. There’s no air getting to them and they are in front of the fan. My feet don’t normally sweat unless I’m out walking a few miles. This is just sitting on a bed. Oh well, for $10 I tried.
