I got this ball pit to use for indoor haircuts for my dog. In the past I've used small pools, but we usually leave them outside and they get nasty, so by cooler weather, I'm back to square one.This ball pit is pretty large and my 45lbs lab mix fits with plenty of room to spare.I like that it's very small when folded up and it sets up in seconds. Quality of material seems great, but the bottom is pretty thin.For my purpose, I like that it's easily maneuverable (as far as the sides go), but there is no way I would ever put a baby in there (when it would try to get up by holding on to the side, the sides would collapse). It could work ok for smaller kids who feel very secure on their feet and can balance well, but not anyone younger than that. I guess the product doesn't advertise itself for babies, but toddlers, but I felt compelled to address it.All in all, it's a pretty good ball pit that can be used for a variety of activities, and it feels much better quality than the ones that are made like a pop up hamper.:)
