Gems are great, the skull is detailed and clear. I love it on my bookshelf as a knick-knack decor. Looks just like the product pictures. I don't know anything about gems. There's a little pull out about different gems and their qualities if you're interested in that aspect. I just wanted it for the cool spooky vibes to be honest.
