I was really excited to get these sandals. They are super cute. I normally where a size 8.5-9, probably closer to 9, but never 9.5. I ordered the size 9 just to have a bit of cushion for my heel and for strap to feel comfortable. The size 9 is too small. Not overwhelming small and I thought initially if I walked around the strap would stretch a bit to allow for foot to slide forward. I just didn't think it was going to stretch that much. My heel landed right at the edge of the sandal and if there was not stitching on the sole it may have been OK, but it just felt like it didn't fully fit. I would also say they tend to be on the narrower side. Not narrow, but definitely not wide. I am sadly returning them. I could order a half size up, but my fear is they would be too loose.
