I can’t think of a single thing I don’t like about this housedress/nightgown - except the fact that I don’t own more of them.Fit: I found it generously sized. It has a flattering flare cut that is slimming and forgiving of extra pounds. It hits mid-calf on me (I am 5’5”). The length rather than being dowdy, reminds me of the cute prairie dresses that were all the rage in the 70’s.Fabric: it is a woven fabric that feels very smooth and fluid. It’s not see-through. This can absolutely be worn outside or in front of company without feeling like you’ve walked out undressed. I really like the color and pattern of this fabric.Comfort: it feels great on! The pockets are nicely sized and located at a proper position (instead of halfway down the thigh or above the waist). It is designed so that there is no issue with falling straps/drooping shoulders or gaping anywhere that requires constant adjustment.Construction: it’s sewn well. No sloppy seams. The lace is a nice accent and not scratchy. The bottom ruffle adds to the appeal.This is a great nightgown or housedress.
