It was recommended to me by an athletic trainer that I wear knee support when strengthening leg muscles. I chose these compression sleeves because I liked the way they looked. My knee measurement was in the middle of the small range so that is what I purchased. They are very comfortable, do not ride up or down, and do not roll over at the edges. Others have had problems that I suspect are sizing difficulties. My knee measured in the middle of the range. If your knee is at top or bottom of range, there might be a fit problem. Note that I do not have a knee injury, just a weakness. I cannot comment on the support given to a real injury. But they do feel supportive as I exercise.
