I purchased this to drive a strand of 12V Alitove Pixel lights using a WiFi controller. The power supply did work for some time, but when I unplugged it to move it to a different outlet, the plug sparked and killed the power supply. The controller and light strand were unaffected, but the supply was rendered nonfunctional. I was able to pull a random 12V charger from the electronics bin and it had no problem powering everything - no sparks involved.The supply felt very light - far lighter than any other supply I have on hand. I assume that the difference in weight is due to missing voltage regulation and surge protection that might be present in other similar devices.I have no complaints with the LED strand that I purchased from this company, but I would avoid these power supplies. I purchased it only because I assumed that it would be the ideal power supply for the lights - it's made by the same company, after all! - but I guess excellence in LED strand manufacture does not extend to power supply manufacture.
