First, I gave this a 4 star simply because these are desribed as "blackout" curtains. These are NOT blackout curtains. These are not lined like blackout curtains. I knew that before this purchase because I previously purchased a set. But I think they need to change their description to something more accurate. I will say that these do a good job of darkening a room. They do block a significant amount of light but just know they are not "blackout" curtains. Some light does show through the fabric. My husband is a night shift worker and they block out enough light during the day that he can sleep comfortably. The fabric is thick. They have a very sturdy feel to them but also hang nicely. The texture is smooth without having any sheen to it. They were wrinkled out of the package but I just hung them and the wrinkles eventually smoothed out. My first purchase of these was about 2 years ago. Those have held up very well. I have washed them in cold water on the gentle cycle and hung to dry without any issue. I now have 4 sets of these in 3 different colors. I am very satisfied with this brand. These are very good quality for the price.
