This tripod case is much nicer than expected, and it is overall a great choice.THE GOOD THINGS:• The length was as advertised, with just a bit of wiggle room (I chose a size 2 inches longer than my tripod + head combination, which worked out well. It fits in the case with a little extra room).• The materials are surprisingly nice, and the overall construction is quite good.• There's a little storage pocket on the inside of the bag, which is a nice spot for tripod plates, screws, etc. The included shoulder strap is found in this pocket.• A nice detail is that the zipper area looks different on each end of the case, so it's very easy to determine which side is up and which is down (I like this because it makes it easier to protect your tripod head when setting the case down).• The zippers appear to be well-made, and the zipping action feels smooth.• It's lightweight, and it's easy to carry.MINOR DISAPPOINTMENTS:• I wish that the padding of the case was a little more significant. I think the product photos make it appear that the case is a little "puffier" than it really is. With that said, there's enough padding for me to feel comfortable putting gear bags/backpacks/etc. on top of it.• The photos make the case look more rigid than it is. It's not as perfectly cylindrical as it looks in the product images.• It's arguably a little too wide. It's not exactly a snug fit for the tripod I'm using. I suppose this comes down to preference. Ultimately, I just would prefer a case where the tripod is held in place more securely (with thicker cushioning).Even with my concerns, this is a great case. It feels durable and still provides a good amount of protection. I'd recommend it. but just know that it's a fairly soft case, and it'd be nice if there was some additional padding.
