Back to back winter storms, I needed to get out of the house, and snowshoe with the dog, or go crazy.Snow pants can feel clunky and awkward. But my running leggings were too thin to consider.But these are amazing! Warm, flexible, water resistant (haven't tried running in the rain with these yet)but the most amazing, underrated feature? The zippered pocket in the back of these leggings. My phone zips into the pocket, at the small of my back, perfectly. I was hiking up the snowy slope, listening to my pace music, on my ear buds, when my phone rings. My phone waits safely in my pocket, and I chat with my friend, in 12°weather, with my gloves still on, my hands still warm.My daughter is beside me in her very pricy"tech" gear, and here I am, totally content, not cold, but also not wearing bulky layers.Oh, yeah, I gotta have more of these!
