These are well made, but they will not stick to a typical chair leg with the "Gorilla" material. That said, they can be easily installed in strong wood leg bases, using the sticker to position them. You will need to drill the legs for the screws to avoid splits.A problem is the two part construction to allow for the screw head being covered. This snap in cover arrangement makes the actual floor contact surface pretty small. On a wood floor, no problem though they could imprint in very soft pine. On an oriental carpet like mine, the slide factor is reduced by the smaller surface area of the actual cap. I think they will last well, and are much better than the bare legs - but be observant about sliding them with weight when you get up from the table.
