Had an awful experience with this switch, and I have 9 other Wemo dimmers, switches, and scene controllers. The v2 is definitely a downgrade. The cutoff tab on mine keeps popping out and turns the lights off, so I’m waiting for a replacement, but that’s not where things end. As the other reviewer mentioned, the physical control of this dimmer is a nightmare with no feedback. If you want to use HomeKit only, it’s fine, but otherwise it’s just bad design. Even the aesthetics is not on par with previous version. The advertised tap-and-add accessory never worked for me, and I added it using old method of scanning the HomeKit code. Anyways, at this price, I highly recommend you go with previous version. Wemo/Belkin should get their act together if they want to survive in the smart accessories market.
