The front of the chair arms have been shredded by my cats. The chair is extremely comfortable and is irreplaceable. I couldn’t find a cover in town to fit my chair as it has a larger seat than average. This cover was perfect for my use. It stretched over my chair easily and it looks great. The "noodles” intended to keep the cover tucked into the sides would never do the job. Mine remains tucked in without them.If you want a cover to repel animal hair, this is not the one to buy. The texture of the design does catch some. I don’t know if it’s the cover to make furniture look like new. I know I’m happy with it. My chair looks 100% better.
