So far, it is fine, but I am a hardcore percolator user so I know to expect failure any day now. I think I have tried all of the ones available on ebay, except the Moss & Stone one, as I can’t seem to find out who makes that one. And even among the bigger brands (Faber, Presto) have run into issues or failure. Pretty amazing that in the 21st century a percolator can’t seem to be made to last a year or longer. I admit I use it a lot.maybe three times a day, sometimes four. But at this point I would be happy with a year of use. I do use a paper filter, just poking a hole in it and never have grounds in my cup. I am enjoying this one for now, while expecting every day for it to simply stop perking. So I guess it is a wait and see as always.If anyone has an electric perc that has lasted a long time with heavy use, please let me know. I have spoiled myself for coffee made any other way.
