Construction was a pleasant surprise
I got these in the Rainkissed Leaves pattern. The cotton fabric is soft; I haven't washed the set enough to know whether it will resist pilling. The construction is nice, though some of the details aren't quite what American buyers are used to. The bottom sheet has piping and elastic on all edges. The elastic gives the bottom sheet enough tension to resist shifting and wrinkling while on the bed, and the piping gives the sheet a tidy appearance. Additionally, the piping makes it easy to fold the bottom sheet for storage, as I can see where the edge of my fold should land. The pillow cases are shams rather than true pillow cases; they open in the back rather than on the side. I appreciate two cases coming with the set, as I like to prop myself up with an extra pillow while reading in bed. The top sheet hems are about half an inch wide instead of having the wide band more typical on American sheets.
