These shocks are built tough! They are heavy with heavy welds and heavy steal. I have no doubt these will last me until the EOL on my van. Not sure why, bu the joints where the shock connects to the mount on the axle seemed to be about 1/2mm larger than the receiving mount. So I had to get a wrench into the mount and pry it open to receive the joint on the shock. not too big a deal. Just something to keep in mind.
