This is a revised review. I was contacted by the company after my first review. They sent me another refill and asked me more about how the product had broken. I did notice that the spine on the new one is slightly different than the original I received, which makes me believe that it was a fluke.The cotton pages are thick and sturdy, and a delight to write on. I am very satisfied with both this paper and the leather journal. Looking forward to using them for many years.Below is my original reveiw :Let me say that upfront that the cotton pages are a dream. I got this to use instead of the unlined insert with my refillable journal made by the same company.I got both the journal and this I sent in the mail today, and I am blown away by the leather journal, but this lined insert has not lived up to my hopes. The spine has broken and a portion of the journal in the back is now falling off. I have temporarily saved it by taping it together with washi until I can order a different insert. After finding this flaw I noticed that the unlined spine is finished differently than the lined pages I have received, so maybe the unlined insert will be more sturdy, but for my use I prefer lined pages. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Especially with the craftsmanship of the leather journal being so amazing. That this insert lasted all of 15 minutes makes me sad. Maybe I just got a fluke?
