My son is two years old and loves puzzles. He was very excited to get these but he needs more help with them than I had hoped, which sort of frustrates him. The images are super cute. The puzzle pieces are an odd shape on some of them. Like the lion for example, there is his head and then the other three pieces are not distinct shapes, but rather really strange shapes that a young child has a hard time matching up. However, the bear is perfect, its his head, two feet and belly. So that one is definitely easier to do.On top of the odd shapes, the pieces fit very loose into the spot, which makes it hard for my son to be confident he has them in the right spots. They easily slide around inside the puzzle. The images are cute but I do think this is better for an older child than my son. But, if you get too old, they will be bored by these. So not sure what age is the right fit. Just an ok toy for us.
