this is a great quality ring, i bought a 16g 7mm diameter ring for my nostril. you have to be careful not to put a ring in your nostril piercing until at least a year after you have it pierced, otherwise it will before very irritated. I have very sensitive sin and waited over a year before buying this ring, and my nose has not reacted to it at all. the hinge sits flush in the ring so you cannot feel it if the hinge spins through the piercing. however it is quite difficult to open the hinge once it is closed in your nose, but this is good because i know it will not come out. all of this combined I can tell that this is a good quality hypoallergenic ring. the plating is very nice too, looks the same color as the 14k yellow gold studs i have so it matches.
