This is my second Kindle, and at this point I won't even look at competing readers. In spite of the average screen resolution, scrolling speed, and cold-toned illumination, everything about this design is spot-on. I was able to disable Amazon's advertising through their live chat assistance in under four minutes (using pre-written English language responses readily available online). Modify the line spacing and font size with little effort. To convert to caliber, I use the traditional method of transferring books from a computer through usb. Since I also own a white copy, protecting it is a must. The necessary size can be found on alik under the codename "J9G29R."
