The fit is somewhere between true-to-size and a bit small. I am usually a medium, I ordered a large and am glad I did. I do think I would have fit ok in the medium, but I will use these for working out and don’t want a totally form-fitting outfit.Overall, I am pleased with these shorts. The fit is feminine (sometimes workout shorts give you a very baggy and unflattering fit - these do not).The material feels thick, though not so heavy that they’ll be hot or annoying to wear during a workout. The coloring is very true to the photos, vibrant and dark. Also, these are *shiny* - it’s not a subtle thing. I bought them in black and even that is VERY shiny. I really like the pockets - they are large enough to be functional which doesn’t always happen on women’s clothing. I can fit my phone in these!
