The tool is not durable. It works better as a weapon to launch the rings from it versus its actual use. Countless times the locking mechanism failed, releasing the banded staples. Thankfully, no one was injured. When it does work between its malfunction, it worked well. However, before we used half of the staples, the tool no longer loaded and held the staples. We thought it was a deal to purchase this product, but sometimes a lower price still isn't worth the rubbish you're getting. Invest your dollar better, and buy a higher quality item.
