I have the 44mm button maker and I absolutely adore it! I love making buttons and have quite literally spent hours just cranking them out. With that being said, there are a few pain points. 1. Paper punch: I had a hard time finding a paper punch that would cut my circles to fit perfectly into the button space. As a result, I ended up buying a 2-inch EK paper punch. With that, you have to line up the paper PERFECTLY into the machine otherwise, you'll ruin many buttons (take it from one who knows!). I ended up making my button maker so that I can always perfectly align my paper. You can do this with a permanent marker, there will be some trial and error but if you have a Q-tip and some alcohol you'll be able to erase and remark you maker until you get the perfect alignment. 2. Additional supplies: I spent hours searching amazon for additional button supplies. Contacted amazon who told me to contact the seller who told me to contact amazon who told me to contact the seller who told me I could find the supplies on amazon but didn't give me a link or additional information. With that being said, you can find additional parts on ebay for about $20 for a set of 100 or here on Ebay through the "Sunshine" store. You won't find them on the Mophron store. 3. Trial and error: you will waste a lot of materials while you're making buttons and getting the hand of it so getting 1K parts to start is really great. The finished product is really great!
