If I don’t tip it back a little bit, it goes all the way down to my eyes. The flaps are held together with a snap on button, easy to use. This will definitely keep the sun off of me on my canoe. There is a elastic draw string in the back of the head to adjust the size. Unfotunately, as soon as I tried to adjust it, the elastic snapped off on one side and it goes into this tiny hole so there’s no way for me to fix it. So now, with the deep wide hat, it’s too big for my head. If you have a big head, go for it. Even if the elastic breaks, you’ll be golden. If not, I would be careful.
